</div><p>A mandate for workforce-related professional development, passed by the legislature last year, started a conversation about a litany of training requirements placed on teachers. Lawmakers are taking a hard look at those requirements and could make adjustments to how much training teachers need and how often.<br></p></div>

<p><span style="color:inherit;"></span></p><div><p style="margin-bottom:24px;font-size:16px;">The state’s Family and Social Services Administration is receiving $5.2 million in grant dollars to improve the coordination of clinical care and the integration of other services that are critical for maternal and child health, well-being and sustained recovery.
